ACTIVITIES FOR WEIGHT LOSS






Contrary to popular belief, losing weight is one of the easiest things to do, given that you have the right approach. Setting realistic goals and having a positive attitude is crucial. Here are some simple tips that help losing weight without much fuss. 

Don`t exercise. 

This advice is only for those who keep looking for innovative excuses to escape their daily workout regime. Instead of scheduling workouts and then taking sidesteps for the sake of `some extremely important work`, you can simply choose to do something else depending upon your preferences. 

Whether you like swimming, dancing, gardening, playing with kids, cleaning the house, mowing the lawn, even trekking, hiking, riding bicycles or anything else, daily activities always help you lose weight. Pick out one or two activities that interest you and stick to them – remember that you have to keep your body moving.  

Eat more. 

Remember the forbidden fruit – the more you deny it, the more anxiously you want it. So, instead of starving yourself for a week and then gobbling carbs after carbs for another week will do you no good. Instead, keep yourself full with all the healthy stuff like fruits, stews, soups, and veggies and dairy. Keep a journal to track the calories you are consuming during the day and try to move after every meal – a quick stroll, some dance steps, climbing some stairs and other. 

Don`t eat fast food as if your life depends on it. If you are not a morning person, prepare and pack your lunch the night before and store it in the refrigerator. Just cutting out the greasy foods you eat during lunch will significantly reduce your waistline. And while packing the lunch, ensure that it`s healthy and nutritious. 

Take small swapping steps and transform your body. Stock fruits in your freezer instead of ice-creams, switch to non-fat milk from whole, replace white bread with brown or whole grain one, use mustard instead of mayonnaise, drink fruit juices rather than coke or soda. If you are making creamy salads, using fresh curd is way better than cream. 

Fall in love with fruits. 

They are juicy, crunchy, crispy, sweet, tangy and full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and the good carbs. The good thing is that they come in different flavors and can simply be turned into so many delicacies. You can make a different kind of fruit salad each day and enjoy the delectable taste – throw in one or two different things to add some flavor like vinegar, curd, black pepper, chili flakes, nuts and more. 

Eat most in the morning. 

You must consume protein, carbs and calories (they are both important in a certain amount) at breakfast. Eat eggs, whole grain breads, bacon, paranthas and other heavy duty foods in the morning and save your fruits and vegetables for later. Researchers have shown that eating full meals early make the body feel fuller and moderate the blood sugar levels so people are less likely to eat like pigs during lunch.
